The Lakeshore House

Our pub is, and has, been open since June of 2006. It has been a wild success so far! Please come and enjoy yourself in our cozy, family friendly place on Lake Hebron. We have fun, outdoor seating as well as an intimate bar and dining area just steps from the lake. We removed the public laundromat in January of 2013 and redesigned the space into a lovely dining room with six more tables.  Our full service bar features a unique beer and wine selection as well as a great selection of spirits, coffee and teas! Our reasonably priced, eclectic menu is largely homemade and will have something pleasing for everyone!  We have a children's menu and daily homemade specials/desserts.

What We Do

In the late 1800's, the Lakeshore House building was a local Maine saloon.  Now it's an old-fashioned lodging house, with a well established  pub/restaurant located on Lake Hebron.  We have live music on Sunday afternoons starting Memorial Day weekend and running through most of September from 3-6 PM.  We also have an Open Mic Night year round on Thursdays from 6-9 PM. The lodging is open year round and we have great swimming and boating available right from the back yard and dining area.  If you have a place on Lake Hebron please feel free to come on over by boat!

Who We Are

The Lakeshore House is ideal for summer and winter recreation.  Situated just two miles from the Appalachian Trail, this small village is a great stop for hikers who are looking to rest, get their mail drop, do laundry, eat a home cooked meal and relax. Being family owned we aspire to meet the needs of all types of groups including those with children. We have many books, games, puzzles, toys, art supplies and some basic equipment for babies.  There is also boating, fishing, snowmobiling, downhill skiing, ice fishing and hunting close by. If you're a group of hunters, snowmobilers, ice fishermen, cross country skiiers, dog sled enthusiasts or folks simply looking to enjoy the many seasons and attractions of Maine then look no further.
